The Holy Quran Roman Script and Translation By Abdullah Yusuf Ali
The Holy Quran Roman Script and Translation By Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Reading the Arabic text of the Quran correctly holds immense importance for every Muslim, as slight variations in diacritics can alter the meanings of Arabic words.
To assist those less familiar with the Arabic language or unable to read it, Darussalam has crafted a Quran edition that incorporates transliterations alongside translations. This thoughtful presentation aims to be a valuable aid.
The interpretation of the Quran's meanings has been refined in this edition, featuring the following enhancements:
1. Each verse is individually accompanied by its English interpretation.
2. The Arabic text of the Quran is sourced from Mushaf Al-Madinah An-Nabawiyyah, printed by the Mujamma' of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia for Al-Mushaf Ash-Sharif in 1405 A.H., as per the instructions of the Vice-Chancellor of the Islamic University. This replaces the previous Arabic text, which was printed in the United States and Turkey by Turkish Calligrapher Sheikh Hamid Al-Amadi.
3. Some chapters and Hadiths from Sahih Al-Bukhari and other Hadith collections have been added or removed.
4. Additions, corrections, and alterations have been made to enhance the English translation, bringing it closer to the accurate meanings of the Arabic text.
5. An additional column has been introduced in this edition, providing readers with the transliteration of the Arabic verses alongside their translation. This addition aims to help readers recite the Noble Verses more accurately.
This edition reflects a comprehensive effort to make the Quran more accessible and comprehensible for all readers, ensuring a deeper connection with the Quran's teachings.
